God Girls in Motion Christian Conference

The weather was a bit chilly in Sandusky Ohio but Kalahari Resort was anything but! This was our second year shooting at the God Girls in Motion Christian Women Conference. There was an amazing lineup of speakers and bands, including Cheryl McGuinness (wife of one of the 9/11 pilots), Nancy Stafford (Hollywood actress), David Dean (Christian comedian), Betsy Kniffin (speaker and musician), and Praise-apella. I was most impressed with praise-appella - they are an acapella group that sounded like a full band (drums and all). In fact, they sounded better than most bands! I was also humbled by many of the stories and testimonies given by the speakers. We often have hard times in this life but these speakers showed how they found hope, forgiveness, and beauty through Jesus Christ. An incredible time!

Craig and Sallyann Engagement!

We were on the road again to small town Ohio to do the engagement shoot of Craig and Sallyann! Fun couple and just really seemed to enjoy each other and just being goofy together. We even got to bring their super happy dog, Annabelle, to get a couple of shots with her. It was such a fun day in sunny northern Ohio, we hope the pictures reflect it! Their wedding is coming up very quickly in June. All the best with the wedding! We will see you very soon!

Starting the Season with Fun!

With the winter season officially gone and the business side of the business all set, we finally get to get out the camera and dust it off a bit to prepare for the season ahead! We have many weddings that we are so excited for this year and we have a lot to look forward to. So to get the shutter going again we coaxed one of our good friends, Kim, to allow us to shoot some portrait shots of her around the 'nati. Kim is a ministry leader at a college campus and needed some pictures for some of the stuff ministry leaders do. I suppose a simple "yearbook" shot would have been sufficient, but we wanted to add a little fun and excitement into the mix. I'm sure she had no idea what she was getting herself into.
